| Mel Radford Mel Radford, PE is a licensed Electrical Engineer with 20 plus years of automation experience. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Mel has developed solutions for applications ranging from general automation and motion control to front end business systems and MES solutions. Whether simple or complex, Mel’s greatest talent remains his ability to break down applications and communicate solutions regardless of industry. An entrepreneur at heart, Mel has owned his own business and now manages the Automation Division for Livingston and Haven. Mel lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife and two children. Mel is active in his church, is a soccer and basketball coach and teaches martial arts. |

| Mike Ryan Mike joined the Livingston & Haven Team after spending more than 25 years in the Electronic Distribution Industry. Mike has held positions in Inside Sales, Field Sales, Purchasing and Marketing, several of which were Management posts. Mike has years of experience in Value-Added-Assembly, with a specialization in Electronics, Connector and Interconnect products. Mikes experience in the Industrial, Military & Commercial market segments make him a valuable asset to our team of contributors. |

| Danielle Chriscoe Danielle Chriscoe graduated from The University of North Carolina with a B.A. in Communication Studies and a minor in Journalism. She has worked at Livingston & Haven over the last few years in the role of Corporate Communications. Danielle’s expertise centers on the marketing side of industrial technology. She is very knowledgeable about Web 2.0 and the changing trends in the industrial sector. Her contributions to the ITT blog will focus on real world applications and industry news. |

| Peter Schmitt Peter Schmitt is a Lean/Process Improvement consultant that gets results. He has a proven track record of using his project management skills and lean techniques to drive continuous improvement and significant bottom line improvements. His 23 years experience in distribution, fabrication, and assembly environments provide a diversity of experience that transmits well to any organization. Pete has a Marketing degree from the University of Missouri – St. Louis, and an MBA in Procurement and Acquisitions Management from Webster University. Areas of expertise include Demand Flow technology, Lean manufacturing, Kanban, MRP, Theory of Constraints, Cellular manufacturing, Inventory Management, Customer Service, Project Management, Supplier Management, Demand Management, Forecasting, and Personnel Management. Previous positions held include, Director of Supply Chain, Manufacturing manager, Materials Manager, Inventory/Operations Manager, Materials Control Manager, and Master Scheduler. | Shane Marshall
Shane Marshall is the Manager of Safety and Facilities for all locations of Livingston & Haven. He is also the creator of over half of Livingston & Haven’s current written safety program. He has served as Livingston & Haven’s primary safety trainer since 2006, leads hazard assessments for all locations, provides vendor safety training and oversees Customer Safety Compliance. His experience includes over 18 years as an FAA certified Aviation Maintenance Technician for US Airways where he served as ground safety coordinator for USAirways in Dayton, Ohio which included participation in ground and flight safety groups. |

Bob Decker Bob Decker is the Director of Industrial Sales at Livingston & Haven, providing manufacturers with automation, hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication & connector product solutions. Products in the Industrial Sales Group include lubrication, connectors, & the retail division. Bob has been in the lubrication systems field for 24 years. He is a CPA and has three years of experience with a former top accounting firm. In 1985 he started his own company, selling lubrication systems. For 18 years his company, Andek Lubrication Systems, grew to be one of the largest lube system distributors in the South Eastern US. In 2002 Bob merged his company with Livingston and Haven. Bob has worked with many of the largest lubrication system manufacturers in the US, Japan, Germany and Italy. He has experience selling systems to many industries including, steel, paper, automotive, mobile, mining and many others. His relations run from field salesmen to the CEO’s of the many lube manufacturers. |

Don Mannon Don Mannon is the 3P Phoenix Contact Specialist for Livingston & Haven. He has worked in the process control and automation field for 30 years. His experience includes time with a manufacturer, a distributor and a systems integrator. Don has held many roles including Service Engineer, Field Sales, Tech Support, Training Manager, Technical Sales Support and Engineering Manager during his career. His application experience and technology expertise allow him to help customers put together effective solutions for their process. |

Rich Arnold Rich Arnold is the Regional Sales Manager over Livingston & Haven’s Georgia and Tennessee Divisions. His primary objectives include the development and direction of a highly trained technical sales force, tasked with leveraging our best in class products to assist manufacturers with the ever increasing challenge of maintaining their competitive edge in the global market. As a Certified Fluid Power Pneumatic Specialist with 15 years of experience in the fluid power and automation sector, a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Georgia and an MBA from Georgia State University, Rich is capable of driving creative solutions and operational efficiencies both within the L&H organization as well as with our customers. He lives in Atlanta, GA with his wife and two young boys. Rich will be contributing industry related news and technical innovations related to pneumatics. |
